Politics and religion. Two things you're not supposed to talk about, because whenever people do it seems to end up in arguments😠, fights👊 and - worst of all - flame wars on social media🔥🔥🔥

What you really need is some calm, objective and informed chat from two people who've been in the game long enough to know what they're talking about. Unfortunately, you've got us instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Holy Political Podcast is a fortnightly podcast about Christianity and politics. We interview some of the most interesting and impressive Christians in UK politics today, discuss political questions affecting Christians, and look at the good, bad and bizarre ways Christians get involved in politics.

It's mainly accurate, somewhat entertaining, and hopefully helpful. Give it a try! 🎧👌😁

Hello again! We're back and with a bang!

Thanks to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, for sparking a big debate this week on Christianity and politics, after he co-wrote a report with the left-leaning think tank the IPPR, and then spoke to the Trades Union Congress.

We got three great Christian political thinkers round the table to hammer out all the questions it raised. From think tank Theos Hannah Rich, who is also Vice-Chair of Christians on the Left; from the Evangelical Alliance, Danny Webster; and joining them is Gareth Wallace, Director of the Conservative Christian Fellowship.

Enjoy!
